100% Fabulous Camping Adventure

This is yet another DT Challenge I did over at Enmarc Crafts' Social Network .

First of all, THANK YOU Enmarc Crafts for the gorgeous DT Pack I received for November (Ja, ja. . . Rather late than never!)

We had such a lovely camping week way back in September 2002. We camped at Ngepi which is situated on the banks of the Okavango River at the beginning of the Caprivi. The Mahangu Game Reserve is nearby and we did a few day trips there too.

I had this rust paint stuff for a couple of months and decided it’s NOW or never! At first I painted the hinges and tree trunks with brown craft paint and then with the rust paint, but I wasn’t satisfied with the outcome. I then added texture paste onto the chippies and when it was dry, I used the rust paint which then gave me a better result. The foliage of the Acacia was painted with Dewdrop Fluid Chalks

Thank you for stopping by. Please leave a comment whilst you are here ;-)
