I have joined the Let's Scrap Community some time ago, but never really had a chance to do a challenge on the weekly sketches. This past week I was busy making handmade gifts for a Facebook Pledge and thought I will never be able to take on this lovely sketch.
The sketch was inspired by a layout by Louise Dixon Smith from Vryheid in Natal.
Whilst making those gifts, I thought that the paper I was using, is soooo beautiful, I HAVE to do a LO! So the one thought after the other entered my mind and the moment I finished with the Handmade gifts, I grabbed a whole lot of goodies to start with this week's sketch. One of the thoughts that also entered my mind, was that I had my daughter's wedding photo's and those might look awesome with this LO. I didn't even bother to clean-up after my other project LOL, just took my forearm and moved all the leftovers from my cutting mat!
This is what I came up with and I'm quite happy :-) I really enjoyed doing this LO.Now it's back to the grindstone for me :-( . . . . . or maybe not LOL

TYVM Bev :-) TIME is a bit of an issue when it comes to scrapping time, but I'm working n the new sketch and will hopefully finish it in time.
